We are so excited to bring you a question by one of our NWP followers!

Today’s question is:  How did you learn photography?

Well, I’ll tell you!  Back in 2009 after our second daughter was born Bobby was awesome and decided to get me a DSLR for Mother’s Day!  After a year or so of taking photos of my kiddos, I took some photos for a friend and shared on Facebook!  BLESS THEIR HEARTS I had a few amazing families reach out to me for photo sessions and the rest is history!

Through a lot of trial and error ( I mean, come on, who REALLY wants a tilted photo or one with (gag) selective color! ) On-line classes and the help of CreativeLive and YouTube I was able to teach myself any and all questions I had in the first year or so.  Then in year two of my learning I met Laura Zastrow, an AH-mazing photographer in Madison WI who took me under her wing, spent countless email hours helping and guiding me and encouraging me.
